Standard Guarantee
(6 Months)
Automatically applies to all Coolenvi products & services.
- We provide a 6-month guarantee from the delivery or installation invoice date.
- The standard guarantee applies even without a service or maintenance contract.
- Guarantee services are primarily fulfilled in-house at our locations (e.g., inspection, repair, refurbishment, or recycling).
- Without regular maintenance, the lifespan of the system may be reduced. Maintenance deficiencies are not covered by the guarantee.
- The guarantee includes:
- In-house corrections to our products
- Spare part deliveries
- Labor and repair efforts on our own products and services
- Excluded from the guarantee are damages caused by:
- Improper use, connection, or operation
- External impact, vandalism, or force majeure
- Voltage fluctuations in the power grid
- Intervention by third parties
- Ignoring operating, maintenance, or manufacturer instructions
- Not part of the standard guarantee:
- Delivery, shipping, or transport costs
- Disassembly and reassembly at the customer site
- Removal and installation costs, including related ancillary work
- Costs due to customer-specific customizations
- The guarantee does not cover liability for property or personal damage, nor indirect losses, downtime, or third-party services.
Extended 48plus Guarantee (optional)
More security for long-term investments.
- With an existing BIMcare™ service or maintenance contract, an equipment-specific, limited 48-month on-site guarantee can be added.
- Guarantee begins from the date of delivery or installation invoice.
- Requires regular maintenance by coolenvi throughout the guarantee period.
- Included in the 48plus guarantee:
- Annually: Delivery, shipping, or transport costs
- Annually: Disassembly, repair, and reassembly at customer site
- Annually: Removal and installation costs including related ancillary work
- Annually: Costs due to customer-specific customizations
- Other services are provided under the standard guarantee conditions.
Safetyplus Guarantee (optional Investment Protection)
Maximum security for larger projects.
- Independent construction and project monitoring by an external expert.
- Our plans are reviewed by an independent expert.
- Project support from planning to completion as a neutral advisor.
- Comprehensive documentation and additional transparency and investment security.
Statutory Warranty
- For work, a 2-year warranty period applies according to § 634a BGB.
- For deliveries, a minimum 5-year warranty period applies according to § 438 BGB.
- We ensure our products and services are free from defects at the time of handover.
- Within the first 6 months, it is presumed that a defect already existed at handover.
- After this period, the buyer must prove that the defect existed at handover.
- Legal rights such as supplementary performance, reduction, or withdrawal remain unaffected.
- If it is proven that a defect occurred after handover, the buyer bears inspection and remediation costs.
- Requires an online warranty claim, which in non-warranty cases is treated as a chargeable order.

What does 48plus cover?
The 48plus package protects your indoor unit against technical defects and malfunctions occurring under normal use. Coverage requires complete and accurate documentation of BIMcare™ maintenance. Damages due to improper use or external influences are excluded.
What is not covered?
Damages outside of normal operation or caused by third parties are excluded. Examples:
Storm and weather damage, lightning strikes, power surges or voltage fluctuations
Damage due to missing or incomplete maintenance or missing chemical protection documentation
Interventions by third parties, unauthorized repairs or modifications
Property damage caused by people, vehicles, or other external influences
Overloading the system through permanently open windows, incorrectly set climate parameters, or atypically high heat/cooling loads
Devices without an active 48plus and BIMcare package
Maintenance follow-up & repair process
BIMcare™ considers maintenance as a continuous process: Our technicians check your system for wear or visible fault causes and provide a clear action plan. On request, we perform necessary repairs or replacements professionally, ensuring your warranty remains valid and the system operates reliably.
In short: 48plus combines extended protection with active, documented maintenance management – for maximum availability and minimal operating costs. You will receive access data after ordering 48plus or another BIMcare maintenance package.
