BIMdepot | Indoor Air Comprehensive Sampling Kit – Plus Lab Analysis

This sampling kit is used for structured detection of key indoor pollutant groups and forms the basis for comprehensive laboratory analysis of indoor air quality in residential, office, and work environments without a known single source.

The product includes sampling technology and laboratory analysis only. On-site sampling, coordination, assessment, or report preparation is not part of the scope of delivery.

Analytical parameters

• Formaldehyde from wood-based materials and furniture
• Wood preservatives (e.g. PCP, Lindane, DDT, PCB, Chlorthalonil, Endosulfans)
• Moulds and yeasts (including non-visible contamination)
• VOC & solvents (e.g. benzene, toluene, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones)
• Plasticisers (e.g. DEP, DIBP, DBP, BBP, DEHP)
• Asbestos fibres (optional fibre analysis using specialised methods)

Sampling principle

Air samples are collected using a leased electronic sampling pump onto adsorption tubes. Sampling is standardised and designed for rooms up to approx. 100 m². Additionally, mould detection is carried out using sedimentation methods including an outdoor air reference sample.

Laboratory analysis

• Gas chromatographic VOC analysis according to VDI-oriented procedures
• Scanning electron microscopy fibre analysis (e.g. SEM/EDX in case of asbestos suspicion)
• Microbiological testing (moulds & yeasts)
• Comparison with guideline and assessment values

Evaluation (separately defined service scope)

• Laboratory report with structured measurement data - included
• Technical evaluation of results - optional
• Optional cause and mitigation interpretation by specialist bodies - optional

Asbestos and mineral fibre detection

• Surface imprint sample on a specialised sampling carrier
