Aging-resistant.Tested product propertiesGeneral building authority test certificate: Complies with building material class B2 according to DIN 4102, Part 1Joint sound insulation: Reduces noise emission according to EN ISO 717-1
Thermal insulation properties according to EN 12667Air permeability: Prevents drafts, tested according to DIN EN 1026Water vapor permeability: Tested according to DIN EN ISO 12572Energy saving according to EnEV: Heating cost savings of 9% compared to filling materials, in accordance with DIN 18055/EN 204
For interior sealing joints with low movement capacity
Excellent adhesion to standard paints and plasters; can be painted or plastered over
The product has a wide range of applications and is suitable for interior joints subject to low expansion
Silicone-free
Aging, weather, and UV resistant
Note: Not suitable for use in building construction joints according to DIN 18540
Due to the large number of paint and varnish formulations, preliminary tests are necessary to rule out any interactions
Caution is advised with fully painted sealant joints. These tend to crack when the joint moves, as the applied paint generally expands less than the sealant, and cracks can then form in the paint
The setting rate depends on the application temperature, weather conditions, and substrate moisture.
...
In cold and damp weather, the setting rate is significantly slowed.
Joint dimensions must be observed; in particular, wide joints should be pre-filled with PE backer rod.
Discoloration may occur with woods containing tannins.
Not to be used in conjunction with pre-compressed sealing tapes.
Not suitable for bonding or cavity filling.
Due to the wide variety of paint and varnish formulations, especially for alkyd resin coatings and powder-coated aluminum, testing through your own trials is necessary.
Adequate air exchange should be ensured during the curing phase. With greater layer thickness, the curing time increases.
Tested according to EN 15651 Part 1.
Fire behavior: Class E
Seam resistance: ≤ 5%
Volume loss: ≤ 45%
Tensile behavior after immersion in water (at 23°C), plastic: ≥ 25%
Durability: Passed building material class B2 according to DIN 4102
