The Microgrid XS is a modular, scalable energy system for the generation, storage and conversion of electrical energy for buildings and sites. It forms a technically coordinated unit consisting of photovoltaic generation, battery storage and energy conversion.
The system is designed for a maximum connection capacity of up to 5 kVA and optimized for stable low-load operation.
Depending on project-specific design, the microgrid system can be configured as an off-grid system (autonomous supply) or as a grid-connected energy system with optional feed-in capability.
Included in the system (core scope)
- Photovoltaic-based energy generation
- Battery storage system for energy storage and load optimization
- Energy conversion and system control (inverter / energy management)
- Coordination of all core components within the defined system boundary (up to 5 kVA)
Not included in the base system
- Building internal electrical distribution outside the microgrid system
- Heat pumps, heating or HVAC systems
- Electric vehicle charging infrastructure
- Consumer or building technology integration
Optional extensions (project-specific)
- Integration of EV charging stations with intelligent load management
- Connection of heat pump or HVAC systems
- Grid-connected system configuration including feed-in management
These extensions are not part of the base system and require separate technical design and project planning.
Project and system definition
The system is based on project-specific configuration and standardized technical parameters. Dimensioning is based on customer-provided information.
Once technical planning begins, the system becomes customer-specific. Cancellation after planning start is excluded.
