The DAIKIN chiller EWAT021CZPBA1 is a high-performance, air-cooled chiller designed for energy-efficient applications in commercial, industrial, and building services engineering. Equipped with modern hermetic inverter scroll compressors and the refrigerant R-32, the system enables demand-based capacity control, high energy efficiency, and stable operating conditions.
The unit features a compact design, optimized control technology, and robust components ensuring long-term operational reliability. The unit is finished in Daikin white.

Efficient inverter scroll compressors
The integrated inverter compressors continuously adjust their speed to the actual cooling demand. This reduces energy-intensive start-stop cycles, lowers power consumption, and ensures stable temperatures.
Additional oil heaters prevent dilution of compressor oil by refrigerant during standstill and increase operational reliability.
Plate heat exchanger with direct expansion
The plate heat exchanger made of brazed stainless steel ensures efficient heat transfer and is insulated with high-quality nitrile rubber.
The unit includes the following for hydraulic integration:

- Shut-off valves (loose, field installation required)

Air-cooled condenser
The aluminium fin-and-tube heat exchanger features non-symmetrical corrugated fins to improve heat transfer, efficiency, and compactness. Corrosion protection increases resistance in harsh environments.
Efficient axial fans
The axial fans with brushless DC motors maximize performance. Fan blades made of glass-fibre reinforced material ensure durability and stability. Suitable for ducted installation via available external static pressure.

- Commissioning (IBN) including time effort, travel, measurement report, handover documentation, and operator training
Delivery and commissioning
Delivery is made to site within mainland Germany. Delivery is unloaded and without lifting platform during the confirmed working day.
The included manufacturer commissioning covers on-site service time, creation of a measurement protocol, technical handover including documentation, and operator instruction. Commissioning can only be carried out under the following conditions:
- after proper installation of the unit
- completion of piping, filling, and venting of chilled water circuits
- proper electrical connection of all components
- ensuring electrical readiness at least 6 hours prior to commissioning
- coordinated site access with contractor and operator presence
Important technical notice
This unit is customer-configured, factory-built, and factory-tested. Safe and reliable operation requires proper system design, hydraulic sizing, and ongoing technical verification of the chilled water/glycol brine circuit even after commissioning.
Key parameters to consider include:
- integrated chilled water pump of the unit
- external pumps of additional chillers
- consumer-side pumps and system components
- hydraulic pressure losses of the overall system
In many applications, buffer storage tanks and hydraulic separation are required. Proper planning and installation are essential to meet manufacturer requirements and maintain warranty conditions.
As this is a project-specific system, delivery is treated as a special order. Statutory rights remain unaffected, but returns of installed or customised systems may be restricted for technical and economic reasons.
Optional dismantling and environmentally compliant disposal of existing equipment can be arranged separately.
