Product information "Coolenvi™ MICROGRID XS Installation – 11 AT | 176 h | 300 km"
This installation package provides a structured and professional implementation of your Microgrid XS System, including photovoltaic generation, battery storage, and power conversion.
The system is delivered as a partially pre-assembled energy infrastructure unit, enabling reduced on-site installation time, improved system consistency, and repeatable deployment across projects. All works are carried out by certified personnel in accordance with applicable technical standards.
Installation Requirements
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for ensuring that all areas required for the installation of the microgrid system are fully accessible and suitable for installation works. Any delays, additional costs, or technical adjustments resulting from unmet site requirements or insufficient client-side preparation shall not be the responsibility of the contractor and may be subject to additional charges.
- Provision of clear and adequate access to all installation areas (roof surfaces, technical areas, and external spaces)
- Provision of basic site infrastructure, including electrical power supply, water, and sanitary facilities (toilet) for installation personnel
- Verification and confirmation of the structural integrity and load-bearing capacity of all installation surfaces, in particular roof structures for photovoltaic systems and ground surfaces for system components, containers, and mounting structures
- Ensuring sufficient load-bearing capacity and stability for scaffolding, lifting equipment, and other installation aids
Our Scope of Installation
- Installation of 9 photovoltaic modules (approx. 2.1 m × 1.0 m each)
- Installation of pre-assembled Microgrid XS Power Conversion Unit (PCU), including inverter, MPPT charge controller, protection devices, busbar system, and internal wiring
- Installation and connection of LiFePO₄ battery system including DC busbar integration
- DC cabling, string combiner integration, and system wiring
- AC integration into existing electrical distribution (standard low-voltage connection, excluding modifications to main distribution board)
- Installation and integration of 2-way smart meter (subject to local grid operator approval and regulatory requirements)
Scope of Services
- Mechanical Installation: Roof mounting system, module installation, alignment, and structural fixing
- Electrical Installation (DC & AC): Stringing, cabling, combiner integration, PCU connection, and protection devices
- Energy System Integration: Inverter configuration, battery integration, and MPPT setup
- Monitoring & Control: Smart meter integration and basic system monitoring configuration
- Commissioning: Testing, parameterization, and documented handover in operational condition
- Execution Model: Installation is performed within a defined execution window. Continuous on-site presence is not guaranteed and depends on project phase and workflow optimization
Installation Cost Breakdown
| Position | Description | Price (€) |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Mechanical Installation | 6 days (2 technicians) – Roof mounting system, PV module installation, structural fixing and alignment | 5,440 € |
| 2. Electrical Installation (DC & AC) | 3 days (2 technicians) – Internal system wiring, PCU integration, protection and grid connection | 2,720 € |
| 3. Energy System Commissioning | 2 days (2 technicians) – Inverter setup, battery integration, MPPT configuration, smart meter, internal data network, monitoring setup | 1,813 € |
| 4. Logistics & Travel | Mobilization, travel costs (up to 300 km), accommodation, tools and consumables | 1,470 € |
| 5. Site Equipment | PPE provision; scaffolding included in system calculation | 250 € |
Total Installation Cost: 11,693 €
The above pricing is based on an estimated total installation effort of approximately 170–190 man-hours, calculated on the basis of a two-person installation team (8-hour workdays).
Additional Services (Not Included)
- Modifications to existing electrical infrastructure (e.g. main distribution board, earthing upgrades)
- Grid connection approval processes or utility coordination
- Additional travel or extended mobilization beyond defined scope
- Delays or additional work due to missing site readiness or access restrictions
- Special construction works (core drilling, structural modifications, piping adjustments)
- Integration into external systems (WiFi, KNX, advanced EMS)
- Provision of heavy equipment (cranes, lifts beyond standard scope)
- Construction and finishing works (masonry, painting, structural adaptations)
Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
Early Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal may expire prematurely if the customer expressly requests that the service begins before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed.
Individually Configured Systems:
For system components that are individually configured, pre-assembled, or tailored to customer specifications, the right of withdrawal may be excluded where legally permitted.
Project Scheduling:
Installation dates are scheduled after order confirmation within a defined execution window. If performance cannot be carried out due to reasons attributable to the customer (e.g. lack of access or missing prerequisites), additional costs may apply.
This structured approach ensures a transparent, efficient, and technically compliant installation with clearly defined responsibilities and cost allocation.
